Event description

Grab your notebook, get cozy at home, and learn about some burlesque costuming. Take just one workshop or all three!

All workshops are presented on Zoom

Sunday, November 16, 4pm-5pm: Achieving Closure. Nothing can ruin a stripteaser’s day faster than a closure which opens too soon...or won’t open at all.  Learn the advantages and disadvantages of different types of costume closures, from adhesive to zippers.

Monday, November 17, 7pm-8:30pm:Getting Tight: A Guide to Corsetry. This class covers corset history, what to look for in a corset, materials, tips for making your own, how to wear and how to remove.

Wednesday, November 18, 7pm-8:30pm: Caring for Your Costume. How to keep your costume looking (and smelling) great! We'll cover prevention, maintenance, storage, transport, and cleaning. Bring your questions!
