Cosy Queer Crafting Night

We are putting on a lovely night in collaboration with Sly Fox to create a cosy, good vibes atmosphere for anyone identifying as queer to come along and meet others who are also into crafting. If you're not into crafting and still would like to come and chat, read a book, or body double to get some life tasks done, that's fine too! Any cosy, downtime activity is welcome. We do ask that noise level is considered, and if you have sensory needs please do bring fidgets, ear defenders, headphones, or any other thrive item for maximum support of your fabulous self.

Access & Accessibility

There are bus stops nearby for the 7, 14, 16, 17, 21 35, 36, and 49 - all of which run after 9pm.

Parking is available for free for 90 min at Newkirkgate parking lot (accessed via , as well as on the streets surrounding the area. There is permit parking outside but some free parking is available further down Henderson St.

There is a small step at the front with a ramp for wheelchair access. The doorway inside is a single door.

Food & Drink

You may bring your own drink and food if you want, however Sly Fox will also provide teas, coffees, and sweet treats to purchase at the venue too. Everything is vegan.

Is this event dog-friendly?

Yes! Please feel free to bring your furry four-legged friends. If this is an issue for people keen to come to a cosy queer crafting night (or you have other animal friends you'd like to bring who may not get along with a dog) then please reach out to us that you would like an event that doesn't allow animals.

Why charge money?

We only charge so that we minimise the number of last minute cancellations as we have limited space. If this is successful and something people would like more of, we will use the proceeds to reinvest back into the cosy night!
