COTA Victoria October 2026 listening posts

COTA Victoria’s Policy and Advocacy team invites its members to join one of two online listening post events that will allow you to share your experiences, priorities, and ideas for ageing well in Victoria.

These sessions, the first of many planned throughout this year and next, will focus on key issues affecting older Victorians, including healthcare access, housing security and stability, and the impact of the increased cost of living. It is an opportunity to speak directly with our team about what is working, what is not, and what needs to change.

The discussion will help inform COTA Victoria’s first State of Ageing report and build on our recent pulse community survey, which heard from nearly 500 older Victorians across metropolitan, regional, and rural Victoria. Your input will contribute to our ongoing advocacy to government, helping shape the changes needed to support people to age well in Victoria.

These events will be hosted online, though future in-person listening post events will be made available to members in the future.
