Support Women Experiencing Homelessness by attending our 'House Warming’ during National Homelessness Week, Mon 11 – Wed 13 August 2025

Did you know? Many women experiencing homelessness spend time couch-surfing while they wait for a room at Catherine House. Recently, wait times have increased from 8 weeks to 6 months due to the shortage of available housing and the cost-of-living crisis.

A student you know from Kavanagh House is seeking your sponsorship as they demonstrate the plight of those who find themselves staying in the homes of friends and family, without a designated space.

All participants will “couch-surf” for 20 minutes during the school day, their task being to simply be, held from life by their situation. Your donation is greatly appreciated and will contribute to much-needed funds for the work of Catherine House.
