“Country to Cambridge” is promising to be a toe tapping show not-to-be-missed, with a stellar line up of talented homegrown country artists.

James Ray is a multi-award winning international performing and recording artist, known and loved by many all over New Zealand. He is an ACMA and NZCMA Award winner.

Rowdy’s Rose is a Husband & Wife, Multi International Award-Winning, Modern Country Duo from the Waikato. Fresh back from USA with 2 international awards.

The DCP are a powerhouse of seasoned performers with years of experience. Known for their electrifying stage presence and mind-blowing musicianship, The DCP are sure to impress. This talented group of artists are regularly playing on the line up of New Zealand’s most prestigious country music festivals and award shows.

James Ray 
James Ray is a multi-award winning international performing and recording artist. His awards include the NCMA Male Artist of the Year and the VACNZ Top Male Artist. He has been a grand finalist for BEST MALE COUNTRY ARTIST by the Kiwi Pro-Am national music awards.

He is an ACMA Award winner for the Best Original Song, Best Male Vocalist and Best Overall Performer. He is also an NZCMA Entertainer of the Year Songwriter Winner. His Album, "Chasing the Dream" was a New Zealand Music Tui Grand Finalist in both the 'Best Country Album' and 'Best Country Song'. Sony Records has included James Ray on "NZ's Best Country Songs" compilation CD along with Bic Runga, Dave Dobbyn and many other great kiwi artists.

James Ray became the Trans-Tasman Entertainer of the Year Award Winner and represented New Zealand at the ten-day Telstra Mildura Music Festival, Australia's largest independent artist Music Festival.

Rowdy’s Rose
Rowdy’s Rose is a Husband & Wife, Multi International Award-Winning, Modern Country Duo from Waikato, New Zealand. Independent singer/songwriters and International recording artists. Recently crowned Winners in 2024 with BEST NEW ARTIST Hugs Radio Awards - Pennsylvania USA and INTERNATIONAL SONGWRITER OF THE YEAR 2024 - Who's Hoo Country Music Awards - Indiana USA.

Rowdy’s Rose have radio play worldwide, reaching over 181 countries via radio and streaming and performers at Music Festivals throughout New Zealand.

Having had 3 Nashville performances last year, the duo are continuing to release new music. This performance is their first stop of their nationwide tour for 2025.

The DCP hail from the heart of Waikato, bringing together a powerhouse of seasoned performers with years of experience.

Recently, they’ve been turning heads and shaking up the country rock scene with their explosive music videos, rapidly gaining traction across social media platforms. Known for their electrifying stage presence and mind-blowing musicianship, The DCP are bound to impress.

At the helm is Dan Cosgrove Music the musical mastermind behind the group’s dynamic sound, crowned the “Top Musician 2023” award (Variety Artists Club of NZ). He's joined by a star-studded lineup: Ryan Monaghan on guitar, Mike McKinley, on drums, and Mark Stoddart, on bass.
