Event description

This workshop is for DISABLED, CHRONICALLY ILL, IMMUNCOMPROMISE, &/OR NEUROSPICY FOLKS WHO ARE STILL COVID CAUTIOUS

I still can't shake learning about the person who went to the ER after a 4 day migraine in February of this year. She brought masks for all the medical staff there and they made fun of her and laughed in her face. When she became upset she was psychiatrically incarcerated; for "maladaptive adjustment," "paranoia," "anxiety," and "crying hysterically;" still not treated for the migraines she came for. It disgusts me. It nauseates me to know that far and wide, these are the kind of medical providers we have to depend on for our care.

I decided to create this workshop for those of us still masking, still taking precautions, still giving a fuck about our communities and who are also: disabled, neurospicy, immunocompromised, chronically ill; who weren't considered or taken seriously before, and certainly are not now.

Let's prepare with each other and for each other <333
