Annual Conference

The Central Queensland Law Association is proud to bring you the 7th Annual CQ Law Association Conference.

This year we will be delivering a two-day program, with the Conference to be held at Empire Apartments & The Cobblers Rooms, Rockhampton. 

Subject to final arrangements being confirmed, the Conference program will entail the following: 

Friday 6th September, 2024

• Full day of papers with morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea 

• Networking drinks; and

• CQLA '24 Profession Dinner at Hummingbird Café

Saturday 7th September, 2024

• Half day of papers with morning tea provided; and

• Afternoon at a private event at Capricorn Food & Wine Festival , exclusive to conference delegates.

Delight your palate and indulge your senses at CQLA Chef's Table.

Hosted by Festival Chef Shane Bailey accompanied by our Festival Cheesemonger, this masterclass will delve into the origins of cheese and how different types of cheese are made, followed by a sit down meal and live cooking demonstration from one of the Festival Chefs. Your ticket also includes your Festival Pass which gives you access to a range of food, wine, spirit, produce exhibitors as well as live music into the evening.
