About Us

CQShines Hospital Foundation is committed to  improving healthcare services in Central Queensland, raising vital funds for medical equipment, professional training, and resources not covered by government funding. Our mission is to support public hospitals and health facilities in Central Queensland, ensuring they have the tools to deliver exceptional care for patients and their families. This year, we’re focused on the ground breaking Virtual Surgical Teladoc system—an Australian-first initiative that connects local doctors with specialists in real time during critical situations and emergencies. This life-saving technology will close a dangerous gap in rural healthcare by dramatically improving surgical outcomes, potentially saving lives. This system will also reduce some of the need for patient travel, ensuring immediate access to expert care right here in our community.

About the Event

The funds raised will directly impact over 30,000 residents of Emerald and the Central Highlands community, transforming the level of care available in our region.
