Crafting Your Artist CV: A Workshop for Emerging and Established Visual Artists - With Perdita Phillips

Who Should Attend: Emerging and established visual artists and photographers looking to enhance their professional profiles.

Why Attend: In the competitive world of visual arts, a well-crafted artist CV is crucial for securing grants, exhibitions, and residencies. Join us to learn how to write an artist CV from scratch or update your existing one while networking with fellow creatives.

What to Expect: This hands-on workshop will guide you through the essentials of assembling an artist CV. Whether you’re new to the scene or returning after a break, you’ll discover what information to include and how to organize it effectively. Bring your existing materials to create a master version that can be tailored for different applications.

Facilitator: Perdita Phillips brings over 20 years of experience teaching professional practice to artists and students. A multifaceted artist with a rich background in both the arts and sciences, Perdita focuses on the intersections of ecology and art, making her insights invaluable.

What to Bring: Please follow the registration worksheet to prepare your details. Bring a laptop or tablet with a word processing program (Microsoft Office assistance will be available). Limited computers will be on-site, so consider bringing a thumb drive to save your document.

    When: Tuesday, 26th November
Where: Artgold, 14 Burt Street, Boulder
    Duration: 2 hours

Sponsors: This workshop is proudly supported by The City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder, AngloGold Ashanti, and The Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries.
