Event description

Welcome to the Crankworx Summer Series New Zealand Athlete Registration for 2021!

The CSS NZ includes categories for Pros, Amateurs and CWNEXT racers.

Pro racing will include prizing for individual races and overall series prizes for the M/F Crankworx Summer Series New Zealand champs, based on points accrued over the course of the series.

For Amateur and CWNEXT categories points will be tallied across the full series for a very limited number of spots (no prize money…but huge bragging rights, some modest prizing and a cheeky medal will be up for grabs!).

As spaces are strictly limited across all categories and locations (and this is a series) we have developed the following registration process which is designed to prioritise full series entries before releasing spots for those keen to attend an event or two.

Registration Process:

From Monday 20th September at 10am to Friday 1st October at 5pm:

  • Full Series Entries will be on sale across all Pro, Amateur and CWNEXT categories.
  • Note: Full Series will include all 5 races:
    • Race 1: Alexandra Super D (27/28th November)
      • Trails: Appendix - Hazard County - 5th Amendment - Drainpipe
    • Race 2: Queenstown DH (3rd/4th December)
      • Trails: Armageddon - Rock Garden - Grundy - Fundy (Black Beard Line) - new race line down bottom of Thundergoat
    • Race 3: Queenstown Pump Track (4th/5th December)
    • Race 4: Cardrona Air DH (8th/9th December)
      • Trails: Mile High Club - Morning Glory
    • Race 5: Glendhu Dual Slalom (11th/12th December)
  • The only exception will be for the CWNEXT 13-14 age group for whom the series will span races 2-5. For this age group, the Alexandra Super D will be managed via a vetting process to ensure rider safety.

From Friday 1st October at 5pm:

  • Full series entries will be removed from the ticket dashboard, and entries for individual races will be released for purchase across all categories.
