Create+Innovate: Tools for Tomorrow (2D and 3D Design)

Casey Tech School in Berwick is offering a free holiday workshop for primary, secondary and tertiary (including TAFE) educators in their Digilab andMaker Space.
The focus of the workshops are on developing skills in 2D or 3D design. Teachers will receive hands-on training. No experience is required to participate. Please bring your school laptop to access Adobe. Morning tea/lunch is catered for.
The day will involve 4 immersive sessions working in both manual and digital media in 2D and 3D design to develop new skills in current and emerging technologies.
Session 1 - Design an object using Augmented Reality in Gravity Sketch. Refine in Blender and 3D print in resin.
Session 2 - Introduction to Tinkercad. Select a design to convert to a pencil topper and 3D print.
Session 3 - Create an artwork to sublimation print onto earrings or a key chain using manual or digital applications.
Session 4 - Design and laser cut coasters or earrings with acrylic or wood. Or Recycle, press and marble printer filament to create bespoke earrings or key chain.
