FIELD OF WOLVES
Field Of Wolves emerged from a warehouse of North London in 2013 by Sydney born singer and guitarist, Holly Bestic. London was the beginning of a journey of assorted influences, many absorbed, some abandoned. Now based in Sydney with a debut line up of Dave Noble (All My Alien Sex Friends) on drums, Arne Utiger (Bin Juice) on bass, and a guest appearance from Ben Freeman on keys, Field Of Wolves is born again.
NATALIE SLADE
Natalie Slade is a neo-soul powerhouse whose forthcoming album CONTROL is her debut as a solo artist. Produced by Hiatus Kaiyote keyboardist, Simon Mavin, the record is overflowing with complex, earthy sounds that grow richer on each listen.
NARDEAN
Born into an Egyptian family and raised in Sydney’s west, Nardean began her musical exploration at the age of 22. As a consequence of growing up within a culture that did not support the notion of a woman becoming a musician - let alone a genre-bending, thought-provoking, ass shaking contemporary hip hop artist - she was forced to overcome some serious obstacles in her journey. Nardean has coined the term “post hop” to describe her style. She is heavily influenced by hip hop, while also drawing on elements of neo-soul, electronica, glitch and RnB. She sits in a pocket of the musical realm that is mostly uncharted, yet buzzing and burgeoning.
