Create your own Christmas Wreath

In this hands-on workshop (1.5 to 2 hours), you’ll create a beautiful, natural wreath on a 30cm base, using a mix of fresh and dried materials.

Maki will guide you through every step. From selecting and cutting your greenery to arranging and securing it on the wreath base, sharing her favourite techniques learned from over 20 workshops across Japan.

The focus is on crafting a long-lasting, creative piece you’ll be proud to display at home.

No experience needed and all levels are welcome.

You’ll leave with your own unique, finished wreath.

What to Bring

Gloves if you chose to use them. Due to the natural oils and sap in the materials, we recommend bringing gloves if you’d like to protect your hands or nails.

All tools and materials are supplied.

About the Facilitator – Maki

Maki is the owner of Shogun Tools, an importer of high-quality Japanese gardening tools. She’s been passionate about gardening and floral design since childhood and has explored over 20 wreath-making workshops throughout Japan to refine her skills. Maki shares tips and techniques on what’s important for making a long-lasting wreath, and helps participants build both skills and confidence.
