Fri, 4 Jul, 10pm - 11:30pm EDT

Event description

Join us for a practical workshop exploring how people with disability and our families are creating their own services, designed by us, for us. Hear from experts with lived experience who’ve built innovative, person-centred supports that deliver real outcomes.

In this workshop, you’ll learn:

  • What is a service for one

  • Why would you want to set up a service for one

  • What it takes to start your own disability support service

  • How to build a team that works for you

  • Where to get help and get started

  • Real-life examples of success—and the lessons learned along the way

Whether you're curious about starting something yourself or just want to learn what’s possible, this session will inspire, inform and equip you with the tools to take the next step. Because nobody understands our needs better than we do.
