Join us for a fun pottery workshop suitable for all abilities and create your own bowl in time for Christmas gifting!

Crafted from a simple pinch pot, these bowls feature a flared rim with an organic wobble and a gentle spiral detail. They are simple and effortless to make, yet they deliver a truly lovely, artisanal result.

This 1.5 hour workshop includes tuition, tools, materials, firing and glazing.

Small group limited to 12 places.

About the artist

With over 40 years of experience as an artist, Helen Price is passionate about sharing her love of art with others. She considers clay to be her “true” medium and her work combines hand building, wheel-throwing, and sculptural techniques to create functional art and sculptures. Helen holds qualifications in Art and Cultural History, Indigenous Arts Management, and Ceramics.

The Cooroy Butter Factory Pottery Studio is a not-for-profit community space for potters of all different skill levels. It is well equipped with pottery wheels, slab roller, extruder, kilns and plenty of workspace. Work solo at your own pace, or join a friendly class - the choice is yours!
