Who it’s for: This workshop is designed for Taranaki-based not-for-profit organisations that already have a funding plan and some grant-writing experience. It’s especially useful for operational staff responsible for fundraising and communications—but also relevant for board members in smaller organisations where roles often overlap.

Why it matters: A Fundraising Case for Support is a powerful document that clearly and succinctly tells your story. It can be used across multiple funding applications, shared with donors, included in sponsorship pitches, or even adapted for your website or annual report. It answers three essential questions:

Why your kaupapa matters (the need or issue)
Why you are the right organisation to deliver (your credibility, approach, and track record)
What you need (the support or investment you’re asking for)
