We invite you to a Fireside Chat with our special guest, Rosie Thomas, co-founder of PROJECT ROCKIT.
Since Rosie Thomas co-founded PROJECT ROCKIT, when she was fresh out of high school herself, the youth-driven movement against bullying, hate and prejudice has directly impacted more than 650,000 students. The Project Rockit Foundation delivers priority support to schools facing socio-economic and geographic access barriers.With an emphasis on (cyber)bullying, Rosie works to engineer a kinder digital world, bringing the voices of young people to big tech advisory boards. She also recently became board chair for the social enterprise Scarf, which facilitates hospitality training and career pathways for young people seeking protection, and those from refugee and migrant backgrounds.In addition to being one of Australia's youngest recipients of the Order of Australia Medal, Rosie has also received the International Award for Outstanding Achievement in Cybersafety and UNICEF named PROJECT ROCKIT one of the 12 Digital Champions for Children’s Rights in the Digital Age.
