Contributing to a thriving culture of social innovation across WA | 10x10 Perth in collaboration with Meshpoints

Are you an individual who is looking to make a difference, has strong social capital and a go-get attitude? Or a funder who wants to support innovation in the not-for-profit sector in WA? Then this event is for you!

In a collaborative effort, Meshpoints and 10x10 are working to create a thriving social innovation culture that supports early stage innovation in the not-for-profit sector in WA 🌱✨ 

In 2021, 10x10 raised $441,000 from one crowdfunding event for three innovative not-for-profits; Ocean Heroes, The Underground Collaborative and Zero2Hero. This event was led by a volunteer committee of ten individuals who wanted to make a difference. 

After a short hiatus 10x10 is looking to return to WA. With fresh leadership and an exciting new model of venture philanthropy that supports our crowdfunding events, 10x10 is able to provide not-for-profits with seed capital and a pathway to transformational funding.

Ensuring that we’re firmly rooted in the WA innovative network we have partnered with Meshpoints to collaboratively work towards contributing to a thriving social innovation culture in WA 🌟🤝

We’re now looking to connect with individuals for our next Perth 10x10 Committee and with funders who are excited by our ambitious vision.

What is 10x10?

10x10 is a not-for-profit that supports early stage innovative not-for-profits to access funding and networks enabling them to grow. We do this by hosting crowdfunding events that raise seed funding, and through philanthropic partnerships that provide a pathway for scale funding that is multi-year and multi-figure.

Who we support

The organisations we support punch above their weight. They’re under seven years old, have revenue less than AUD2M and are using innovative solutions to solve societal challenges across cause areas including domestic violence, homelessness, recidivism, mental health, accessibility and food insecurity.

Some examples of organisations we've supported that have gone on to do big things include OrangeSky Laundry, Confit Pathways and This Is A Conversation Starter (TIACS).
