School Holiday Activity: Create Wildlife Shelters in Your Backyard

    Date: Tuesday, 24th September
    Time: 10:00am
Venue: Henderson Environmental Centre, North Beach

Transform your backyard into a sanctuary for wildlife! Join ecologists Mike and Mandy Bamford for an engaging workshop where you’ll learn how to create fauna shelters, lizard lounges, bandicoot bungalows, insect hotels, and frog bogs. Discover why these habitats are essential for supporting local wildlife.

    What to Expect:

    • Educational Session: Learn from experts about the importance of creating wildlife-friendly spaces in your backyard.
    • Hands-On Activity: Get the chance to construct your own fauna shelter to take home and start your backyard transformation.

This workshop is a fantastic school holiday activity suitable for adults and children aged 8 and over. Please note that all children must be supervised by an adult at all times.

Don’t miss this opportunity to make a positive impact on your local environment while having fun with your family!
