A Placemaking Workshop for CRCs and Local Government (and the changemaker/doers)
Location: Wongan Hills CRC

Time: 12:00pm – 2:30pm
This free, hands-on session is designed for CRCs, local governments and community-focused leaders working to activate their towns and strengthen regional connections.
You’ll take part in a guided walk-shop, practical placemaking activities, and a collaborative co-design session focused on how we can work better together to support vibrant, people-powered places across the Wheatbelt.
What it will cover:
- Take part in a guided walk-shop - a tool you can use in your own town to see spaces differently and spark ideas
- Practical placemaking tools and ideas
- Strategies and real-life case studies
- Connect with peers from across the Wheatbelt
Light lunch provided
This session is ideal for:
- CRC managers and team members
- Shire staff and Councillors
- Community development officers
- Economic development, planning, tourism and events staff
- Community, town teamers, doers, & changemakers
- Anyone supporting local placemaking initiatives
