Event description

Did you know that you can quickly and easily create content for TikTok and reel for Facebook and Instagram in Canva?

Reaching people whilst they are watching TikToks or Instagram Reels can be a highly effective. Unlike traditional advertising that customers tend to dislike, short-form video content doesn’t interrupt their viewing experience. Instead, it seamlessly blends in with the other videos they are watching, becoming a natural part of the content flow.

In this hands-on workshop you will learn how to create simple and effective short-form videos using Canva. Our experienced presenter Andy Kahle will take you step by step through the process of setting up, editing and download files ready to share on your socials. This workshop will cover:

  • Setting guides
  • Adding audio & video
  • Applying animation
  • Creating extra slides, trimming video
  • Download the finished artwork for digital

Being able to create your own snackable content that perfectly aligns with the limited attention span of today’s audience will help you to capture and hold your customers attention and stand out from your competitors on social media.

Your presenter will be: Andy Kahle

Andy is a Graphic Artist & Designer who started out as an apprentice compositor over 35 years ago, working with newspapers and advertising. As the industry evolved with technology, so did her skills. Andy now utilises those advances in technology to better share her artistic talent and design experience specialising in small business branding.

This workshop is presented as part of the Digital Solutions Program in partnership with the Albany Business Centre.
Please note by continuing the registration process you acknowledge and agree your information will be shared with the Commonwealth Department of the Treasury and the Commonwealth Department of Industry, Science, and Resources for program evaluation and reporting purposes.
