Darren Hammond – Indigenous Engagement Lead, IAG
A proud Gomeroi man from Moree, Darren is a passionate advocate for Indigenous inclusion. As IAG’s Indigenous Engagement Manager and Chair of Deadly Science, he drives initiatives that empower Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, businesses, and communities.
Kelly Pulevaka – Senior Projects Officer, Department of Education
A proud Bundjalung woman and mother of three, Kelly is dedicated to improving education outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students in NSW. With experience as a business owner, she now works to create meaningful opportunities in education.
Lisa Swinnerton – NASCA Alumni
A proud Wiradjuri and Kaurna woman, Lisa was a NASCA participant for five years and was named NASCA Youth of the Year in 2022. Now pursuing a Bachelor of Education, she is committed to supporting the next generation while working in retail.
Harry Murphy – NASCA Team Leader, Sydney, Panel Facilitator
A proud Aboriginal man born on Gadigal Country, Harry is a former NASCA student and now leads NASCA’s Sydney Academies. Passionate about opening doors for young people, he works across multiple programs to create pathways for Indigenous youth.

Phillippa McDermott – Executive Manager, Centre of Excellence Indigenous Experience, CBA
With over 30 years of experience in media, arts, and employment, Phillippa is a champion for workforce diversity and inclusion. She drives corporate strategies that foster meaningful relationships with First Nations peoples and promotes cultural change.
Nareen Young – Associate Dean, Indigenous Leadership & Engagement, UTS Business School
A leading voice in workplace diversity, Nareen is the Associate Dean at UTS Business School and a Professor at Jumbunna Institute. Influenced by her First Nations heritage, she has shaped national diversity practices and policies in Australia.
Leon Donovan – State Manager, National Indigenous Australians Agency
With two decades in government, Leon has helped shape policies that drive social and economic change for Indigenous communities. As a senior leader at NIAA, he is committed to celebrating progress and fostering lasting impact.
Carlos Barrios – Senior Product Manager, Macquarie Bank, NASCA Board Member, Panel Facilitator
A proud Torres Strait Islander and Filipino man, Carlos is passionate about education and economic opportunities for Indigenous communities. A Chartered Accountant, he drives change at Macquarie Bank and supports Indigenous advancement through leadership roles.
