    Event description

Successful commercial relationships are built on a fair exchange of value and willingness to collaborate. This learning event provides social benefit suppliers with increased awareness, skills and tools to position for collaboration with PDA contractors and work towards a fair value exchange.

An interactive session with Q&A, this foundational session of our negotiation series seeks to improve the balance of power across construction, towards increased engagement in the social procurement supply chain. Participants will walk away with new language, toolkit and approach to setting a fair-value exchange with their contractors / subcontractors.  This foundation will increase confidence and skills in negotiation, leading to stronger social procurement engagement.  .

This the first session in a two-part series. Participants are encouraged to listen to this session before participating in the second part, 'Negotiation Essentials - Learn the soft skills of negotiation'

This session will be facilitated by Carmel Riley (CEO and Principal Consultant) of CRSE Group and is aimed at Social Enterprises, Australian Disability Enterprises and Aboriginal businesses
