Event description

Everyone has the capacity for creative expression and enjoyment. Heide’s Creative Age program is designed specifically for people living with early stage dementia and their carers. Sessions promote social engagement, health and wellbeing through nature and the nonverbal avenue of art.

Heide’s Creative Age programs are kindly supported by the Phil Taylor Foundation

About the program

Join qualified art therapist Tanis Douglas in Heide’s beautiful gardens, sculpture park and galleries for life-enhancing small group activities that facilitate interpersonal connections. Art therapist Tanis Douglas is trained in integrating art and psychology and sees all program participants as respected collaborators, assisting them to express themselves and access their creativity.
