Creative Arts Portfolio Entry Information Session & Workshop
Event description
Join us for information and workshops designed to help you build a portfolio and apply for the Bachelor of Creative Arts at Curtin University.
The information session covers the requirements of the portfolio entry as well as looking through a range of exemplars. The workshops will boost your skills and provide you with an example to include in your portfolio.
Working with a practising artist and tutor, you will create a series of work that shows a progression of techniques and ideas that can be used for a portfolio entry and your current studies.
Please note, unfortunately we are no longer able to run the Screen Arts or Theatre Arts workshops due to low registration numbers. The Fine Art workshop is still going ahead followed by the information session. Anyone can attend the information session from 12.30pm to 1.00pm which will include information about portfolio entry into all three majors: Fine Art, Screen Arts and Theatre Arts. This will be followed by a tour of the Screen Arts facilities and Hayman Theatre.

Materials will be supplied however, please bring your visual diary/journal and a mobile phone if possible. Tutors are also happy to look through any portfolios that you are already putting together.Â
