Event description

CREATIVE AUSTRALIA PRESENTS

This is an upcoming conversation with leaders across Australian creative industries, regional development, cultural precincts, universities, research, training and policy to discuss the UK’s Creative Industries Clusters Program model.

We will hear from guests visiting from the UK who have been intimately involved in the design and implementation of these programs: Andrew Chitty (Chair: CoSTAR Network Board, Institute For Media and Creative Industries, Loughborough University London and UK Research and Innovation, Creative Economy Champion) and colleague James Bennett (Director of the CoSTAR National Lab)

We are seeking to draw inspiration from their insights in imagining new opportunities for Australian creative industries’ development, research and skills pathways across our regions, drawing on existing cultural infrastructure and the ambitions of local creative communities.

Present will be Georgie McClean, Executive Director Development & Partnerships, Gillian Mercer, Director Business Development & Partnerships; Zohar Spatz, Head of Community & Experimental.

This is a free event. Please confirm with our team whether you have any dietary or accessibility requirements.
