Join us at VEND Annerley for a creative way to swap your clothes with someone else's epic wardrobe, catch up with friends and have a fun morning out.
This event is perfect for anyone who has some epic pieces of clothing in their wardrobe and doesn't want to have to sell them on Facebook marketplace or shlep them to a market. These are pieces that are crying out for a new owner so come and swap your pieces for someone else's epic clothes and have fun while doing so!
Here’s how it works:
Bring along 10 pieces of gently loved, freshly washed, and ironed clothing or accessories (no underwear or activewear please) and trade them for up to 10 pieces of clothing from everyone's contributions on the day.
While we set up the racks, browse the markets at VEND or take place in the creative workshop on offer. Tickets to this will be available separately.
Clothes registration is between 9.30am and 11.00am

FAQs
- What is your refund policy?
We understand that things come up. Please notify us 24 hours prior if possible (via text or email). If you arrive after the first 20 minutes you will miss out on the clothes swap but can stay for the necklace. You can also transfer your ticket, please just let us know if there is a name change
- What type of clothes should I bring?
Please ensure all of your clothing has been freshly washed and steamed/ ironed. We are looking for 10 items of ADULT clothing that is female or unisex suitable. I support op shopping fast fashion however we will not accept fast fashion pieces for this swap as we want to create a thoughtful curation
- Can I bring more than 10 items?
If you are happy to put more than 10 pieces into the collection, that would be wonderful as if everyone does this, there will be more choice however, you will only receive 10 SWAP tokens.
- Is there anything that will be refused?
We will not be able to include the following in the swap = underwear, activewear, swimwear, fast fashion items, items that are not clean or ironed. Please check your items do not have any stains or damage
- What if I like the same item as someone else?
We hope that everyone is calm and courteous. We keep the set up private from the rest of the event so people cannot place 'dibs'. Pieces are unique and the first to pick up the piece is the person who has first choice to exchange for their token. Let's keep things polite :-)
- Is VEND Accessible?
Unfortunately, this particular venue that we book has an upstairs workshop space so is unsuitable for people who cannot go up concrete stairs unassisted. I have many other venues so please get in touch and I can let you know when our next event is coming up at a more accessible venue.
