Description

Creative Directions: Transdisciplinary Career Days is a full-day program that invites students to speculate about the world of work through transdisciplinary tours at Science Gallery Melbourne and the Potter Museum of Art. It will develop students’ understanding of emerging careers, connections between disciplines, and an ability to generate ideas.

With a focus on imagining possibilities, the program provides a launch pad for exploring roles within and beyond the creative industries, including professional artists. Tours are enhanced by a one-hour speculative career mapping workshop and a Teacher Resource Pack to support in-class learning.

Eligibility Criteria:

This program is limited to low SES government schools located in the City of Frankston, City of Hume, Mornington Peninsula, City of Whittlesea and City of Wyndham.

Details:

  • Designed for year levels 7 - 10

  • Capacity: 50 students per school

  • Free bus transport

  • Full-day program
