Event description

Creative First Aid for Anxiety and Overwhelm is not an art class - it's a gentle, beginner-friendly workshop that introduces creativity as a powerful, often-overlooked tool for emotional wellbeing.

You've probably heard the usual advice for managing anxiety: meditate, exercise, get a good night's sleep. And while those things help, there's another pathway - one most people never explore, simply because they believe they're "not creative".

In this 90 minute online session, you'll be gently invited to set that story aside and discover simple, accessible creative practices that soothe the nervous system, quiet the mind, release tension, and offer a fresh, embodied way to deal with life's overwhelm. No artistic skill needed - just a little curiosity and a willingness to try something new.

You'll also receive a beautifully designed mini-workbook to print and revisit after the session, along with access to the replay so you can return to the practices anytime you need a reset.

Natalia Fidyka is a registered Psychologist and artist who has spent nearly two decades supporting people with anxiety, grief and emotional overwhelm. She combines evidence-based therapeutic approaches - including CBT, Internal Family Systems, Mindfulness and Gestalt Psychotherapy. Natalia supports adult women and men with stress, trauma, grief and loss, cancer journeys and many more human conditions.

Her work is grounded, compassionate, and deeply human. Whether through one-on-one therapy, group workshops, or her art-based community, Natalia has a way of reconnecting people with their joy, and living a life that feels more alive and true.
