Learn to Draw
An artist led program, facilitated by Zoe Awen, focussing on developing skills and style! Students will incorporate techniques from drawing from life to reinterpret what they see and use their unique creative flair. Each class will be different, incorporating new ways of observing and capturing what we see and feel in artistic form. Including new mark making techniques, different mediums, painting to various styles of music, observing nature and en plein air (in the open / outside).
Clay Lab
A program for young artists to explore techniques working with clay! Start with the basics of hand-building and texture creation, then learn to form pinch pots, hanging decorations, birdhouses, and bowls, while learning about surface decoration and texture. Some creative play and experimentation, such as making crazy creatures, will be included each week to keep the classes dynamic. Perfect for budding creators of all skill levels.
For Primary School Students in Grade 2 - Grade 6.
