The Creative Rights Roadshow is a dynamic series of co-designed and curated Arts Law workshops, led by Suzanne Derry, a highly regarded legal expert. This initiative responds directly to community feedback highlighting the need for greater capacity building in the arts sector.

During 2025/2026 over the course of six regional tours across Regional New South Wales, the Roadshow will visit a Regional Arts Board footprint, delivering tailored legal education sessions. These workshops are designed to meet the specific needs of each region, with a strong focus on supporting Aboriginal Arts Workers and those who work alongside First Nations artists, creatives, and communities.

By equipping arts workers with essential legal knowledge, the Creative Rights Roadshow empowers them to navigate real-world challenges, advocate for artists’ rights, and strengthen the creative industries in their communities.
