Join us for a 3-hour hands-on workshop into the art of conscious creation, transforming vintage textiles into your own one-of-a-kind summer beach bag.

Guided by Angela Winter Means x Greatest Friend, this session blends foundational machine sewing skills with intuitive design, showing you how to turn character-rich fabrics into a functional, personal statement piece.


What you will get:

1. The basics of operating a sewing machine

2. Construction techniques for durable bag design 

3. Nurturement of your creative instincts to incorporate personal styling into your design.

4. choice of a rare collectible and durable vintage fabric that you connect with.


By the end of the session, you will walk away with a custom, sustainable beach tote made entirely by you.


About the Facilitator:

Angela Winter Means (aka Greatest Friend) brings a passion for vintage textiles, slow craft, and sustainable style.

 With a deep background in where creativity mets durability, longevity and the art of flow, Angela focuses on breathing new life into forgotten fabrics through intentional making. Known for her encouraging and accessible teaching approach, Angela will foster a creative environment where makers of all skill levels can build confidence at the machine, explore their personal style, and embrace the joy of tactile creation.

Select preferred session:

Saturday Session: 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM 
Sunday Session: 11:00 PM – 2:00 PM 

Price: $75 per person, which includes all materials, a personality pairing with a rare vintage fabric options, and hands-on instruction.

Capacity:
The intimate workshop size is strictly capped at 5 participants per session to ensure everyone gets enough time and guidance.
