The WestWords Living Stories Competition returns in 2025!
Join us for an engaging creative writing workshop designed for children, youth and adults. Learn expert tips and techniques from Zeynab Gamieldien to craft compelling short stories and discover how to enter the competition.
Participants must be 10 - 15 years old to attend the program. To ensure the success and safety of the program, anyone outside of the specified age range may have their ticket cancelled.

About the facilitator: Zeynab Gamieldien is the inaugural winner of the 2022 Westwords/Ultimo Prize for her debut novel, "The Scope of Permissibility". Her work has been shortlisted for the Rachel Funari Prize for Fiction and featured in publications such as The Guardian and the Australian Muslim Times.
