Creative Flow ARTplayful Sessions + Live Music with Pappie & Pooch

Every Saturday in September, the Huon Valley Hub will put Art at the Heart of Huonville, creating a space where you can experiment with art and music, or just hang out if you want to sit back, relax and enjoy. Think of these as an alternative Saturday Campfire Moment, where we can come together and explore together, catch up with old friends or even meet some new ones.
As part of the September Huon Valley Hub Flow exhibition that spans across 3 exhibition spaces across Tasmania (2 in Launceston, 1 in Huonville), Artist Sheree Martin will hold 3 Community ARTplayful workshops in the Huon Valley Hub, open to everyone, of all ages and abilities. Your creativity will contribute to an evolving community created artwork which will form part of the Flow exhibition. But I’m not an artist, we hear you say… that is totally ok; Sheree will guide you in your creative expression and you might be surprised what is hidden inside of you.
But that’s not all…. Sheree’s sessions will take place to a backdrop of soothing live music, provided by Pappie & Pooch. They will play acoustically to get you in the mood, groove the Saturday away or get your creative juices flowing, whichever suits you best.
But… you say, I just want to sit back, enjoy the music with a hot drink or a glass of wine instead? We say, no problem! Just hang out in the Green Chill Corner, your private little nature pocket inside the Huon Valley Hub where you can relax, feast your ears, fill your soul and have a chat (or not!).

This is a family-friendly event, so you can introduce your kids to music and creativity in a supportive and welcoming space. Even better, these sessions are free!
