    Event description

An award-winning 8 week home-delivered program for mental wellbeing, mental health support, trauma recovery and building social connections.

Our evidence-based 8 week program provides opportunity to explore a range of creative practices with expert artist teachers, and create targeted self-care strategies for managing a range of physical and mental health experiences. We weave together psycho-social education and content, with live, facilitated creative practices including drawing, painting, music, stitching, gardening, journalling, writing, and nature connection.

"This course has changed my life! I feel so better equipped to notice my symptoms, and now what to do to manage them. I've reconnected with my creativity, and have a whole new set of fun strategies! I write every day, grow plants, and have started learning to draw. It's been truly fantastic" - Jean

    • Motivation to explore creative practices for self care and mental health

NDIS clients who are self-managed and some that are plan-managed can claim this course on their plan and need to complete this online enrolment

*Please note that following enrolment, one of our team will be in touch by phone to have a short chat prior to the course starting.*

Please note: Remind is a high quality program so the associated fees are $1500 for group participation and $900 for self led participation, based on NDIS Group Program pricing (2023)

We invest significantly in each participant. We send each participant hundreds of dollars of materials (e.g. ukulele, watercolour kits, drawing kits, sewing materials), pay for high quality creative facilitators who are experts in their own right, and provide a high ratio of staff to participants  (e.g. usually 1 staff to 6 participants).

We acknowledge that members of the community that participate in this program may be unemployed and  not have the means to pay for this course. We offer this program to community members who are not able to access other funding (e.g. NDIS plans) at a heavily discounted rate.
