Creators Club
Event description
Join us at Creator’s Club for some afterschool play and exploration at the Loose Parts Playground. We believe play is essential for the development and wellbeing of all children and provides endless opportunities to learn grow and thrive.
We have access to the amazing loose pats playground at Whitfield State School where there are endless opportunities for children to create and play. This play space is purposefully designed for unstructured play, collaboration and risk taking. This playground provides various movable, open-ended, and easily manipulable objects and materials for children to play with and use in their imaginative and creative play.
Our Playworkers are there to support and assist to build a community using this amazing space and use a high supervision, low Interruption approach.
This program is for school aged children aged 5 - 12 years of age. Parents of children aged 5-7 are required to stay onsite throughout the activity. For older children parents are welcome to stay or drop off and return to collect by 5pm.
Children must be able to function well and independently in a group setting as we are able to offer limited individual support. Please call us to discuss your child’s specific needs if you have concerns around their support needs to ensure the wellbeing of them and all participants. Participants should also be follow our directions to keep them and others safe
