More than 600 businesses responded to our snap poll last week which revealed 17% of businesses aren't yet prepared for the RBA's credit card surcharge ban which is set to come into effect from 1 October 2026.

Promisingly, almost two thirds of respondents (65%) confirmed they are prepared, and the remaining 18% said the surcharge ban was not applicable for their business.
