CREDS Seminar Series 3: Teaching and Learning with AI with Dr Suzana Sukovic
Event description
Presbyterian Ladies’ College Sydney conducted a study of artificial intelligence (AI) in education aiming to provide a survey of the current and anticipated impact of generative AI on education. The research question addressed the opportunities and challenges that arise from generative AI in primary and secondary education, particularly in the context of PLC Sydney and other similar schools. The overall question about the impact of AI in education concerned three areas of investigation:
1. AI in society
2. AI in schools
3. AI for teaching, learning and wellbeing.
The project was a broad environmental scan, aiming to capture how teachers and education experts view AI, and how
schools have responded to the challenge. It gave a good sense of what is happening on the ground.
