Creek st / Nightingale / Hilary Somerville

We are excited to be taking over Snack Vintage on Thursday, Nov 12 for an intimate evening of deep sounds and poetry. We are honoured to be invited to play in this beautifully curated space in a historic building downtown Victoria.

As usual, bring mugs for tea and cozy things to sit on.

Performers:

Nightingale is a multi-instrumentalist loop artist and story-singer, whose psychedelic cinematic song summons the emotions of the natural world and carries us through the spectrum of our innermost mythic landscapes.

Hilary Somerville is a writer, poet and performer that wields darkness and light into imagery that gets under your skin, sticking with you for days. Her words will be accompanied by live ambient sounds.

Creek st will be performing our forthcoming album, Soft Storm. You can expect ambient leaning soundscapes, trip-hop inspired beats and live looping. Our improvisational performances feature guitar, violin, finger drumming and ethereal vocals.

Creek st. has a new line of merch with art by Formless Forming that will be available at the show. The images on the poster are a preview of what to expect.
