CREST is excited to host this free lunchtime webinar series for CTG members. This 3-part webinar series will explore how economic modelling can be used in your cancer research to address health economics questions.

Episode 1: What is an economic model?

- About: In this session, we'll introduce the various economic models commonly used by health economists in cancer research and their respective characteristics, advantages and applications.
Episode 2: Building an economic model to answer a question
- Date: Tuesday, 8 October 2024

- About: For this episode, our health economists will help you understand the process for building an economic model specific to your cancer research and health economics questions.
Episode 3: How is the information from economic models used in practice?
- Date: Tuesday, 22 October 2024
- Time: 12 - 1 PM AEST
- About: So you've selected, developed and applied an economic model to your research, what's next? We'll take you through how information from your economic model is used by funders when making decisions about funding health care.
