Event description

Amigurumi is the Japanese art of crocheting small, stuffed creatures - and a great way

for beginners to learn new skills while making something cute and memorable. In this

hands-on session, participants will crochet their very own bee plushie while learning

essential techniques used in 3D crochet.

Led by Joy, a passionate local fibre artist, the session will cover:

• How to read a beginner-friendly amigurumi pattern

• Step-by-step demonstration of the bee project

• Techniques such as increasing, decreasing, and working in the round

• Individual guidance in a small group setting

• Inspiring ways to keep learning and creating after the workshop

All materials are included, and no experience is required.

This session is for people 12 to 25 years of age.

Please Note: Bookings open 15 October 2025.
