Crones - a Documentary Film: A Fund-Raiser Raffle, to win from a choice of exciting prizes!

We are raising funds for an indie documentary film, titled - Crones, that is four-years in the making. We aim to raise money through the raffle tickets to get a professional trailer edited, and a rough cut of the entire film. This is a pivotal moment for us. A professionally edited film trailer and a rough-cut will help us to move forward in our journey to apply for post-production funding. 

ABOUT THE FILM - 
A Bollywood Seniors Dance Class, a Cabaret Performer in her 60’s, an Amateur Dance Student in her 70’s, and a film-maker in her late 40’s, pursue fulfilment, inspiring change in our limiting perceptions of older women. As one woman boldly pursues her dream, it has a ripple effect on another. This documentary is a story about championing energized older women; who continue to learn, grow and contribute, and who still have unfulfilled dreams that they are pursuing. 

ABOUT THE TEAM -
The director, Joshinder Chaggar is also the teacher of the Bollywood Seniors dance class, which is where this story began. Spending time with the seniors challenged her own perceptions of the older demographic, and she felt compelled to tell this un-stereotypical story about age which is wrapped in joy.  Erika Martinez, is a Queer, first-generation Cuban-American, producer based out of Los Angeles, and came on board because she is committed to telling stories concerning the underrepresented and the forgotten.

Joshinder and Sunil will cook up a storm and welcome you to their home in St Kilda Melbourne! Dietary needs will be taken into consideration.
