CROSS CULTURAL NIGHT II: RICE DISHES AROUND THE WORLD
Event description
Get ready for a night of flavour, culture, and celebration! On 17 October 2025, the University of Sydney's Pan-African Association (SPAA) is teaming up with other USYD cultural societies such as YALA, SUBSA, SILS, SUCSA, and SUSLAS to bring you Cross-Cultural Night II: Rice Dishes from Around the World. This special edition is all about RICE 🍚, the dish that connects us across continents🌍.
Come hungry and curious as we serve up a buffet of traditional rice dishes from different cultures, each prepared by student societies eager to share their heritage. But it’s not just about food, there will be live performances in music, dance, and poetry, a colourful fashion showcase, and interactive cultural stalls where you can learn, connect, and have fun.
Whether you’re here for the food, the vibes, or the global connections, Cross-Cultural Night promises an unforgettable evening of community, creativity, and celebration. If you would like to perform, reach out at spaa.usyd@gmail.com
