Cross-Cultural Parenting Workshop in Whangarei November 2024

Facilitated by Valyria Bui, this workshop will help you navigate parenting challenges in New Zealand when you come from a different cultural background. It will also help you enjoy your parenting journey more while creating good conditions for your children to contribute and thrive.

The topics to be covered in the 4,5 hour workshop :

• New Zealand context of parenting
• New Zealand laws related to children.
• Dealing with bullying and racism
• Children’s rights, Children’s needs and development goals
• Positive parenting principles
• Tools and tips for positive parenting
