Event description

Organised by Mariposa Trials NFP and Charity ABN 48115682804.

Changing the Narratives of Suicide recognises that real change happens together. By collaborating, we can build communities that value compassion, care, and connection, promoting hope and meaningful lives.

Cross-cultural voices are an essential part of the solution in addressing health and stigma. Their knowledge and lived experience help tackle risk factors such as loneliness, isolation, and distress, particularly within refugee and migrant communities. Cultural wisdom and community connection offer powerful pathways to healing and recovery.

This first-of-its-kind conference in South Australia brings together key figures in health, research, service delivery, community development, and responses to distress and suicide to inspire conversation, connection, and a shared movement for change towards an inclusive and compassionate future.
