Join us for our third cross sector forum aimed at building partnerships between alcohol and other drug (AOD) non-government organisations (NGO) and other health and human services sectors. This event will provide a unique opportunity for staff across sectors to come together in person and online, to hear from leading practitioners, network and enhance relationships and build a more connected system to enhance continuing care of people accessing services.
The forum aims to:
- Improve partnership between NGO AOD and health and human services sectors including - Department of Communities and Justice (DCJ) child protection, correctional and housing services, NGO family, housing, domestic and family violence
- To build partnerships across the sectors that will support staff to work collaboratively to improve outcomes for people experiencing AOD and other co-occurring issues
- Provide a forum for staff/services to network and connect
The forum will include panel discussions and speakers from:
- NGO AOD services, DCJ and other health and human services
- Leaders across the sectors
- People with living/lived experience of accessing services
