Elevate your skills and become a Cruise Concierge through this short course, part of the Workforce Readiness Series. The Cruise Concierge short course is tailored for those who want to deliver exceptional experiences to cruise passengers visiting the City of Albany. Participants will learn how to provide friendly, knowledgeable, and professional assistance, ensuring visitors feel welcomed and informed during their stay. This course equips individuals with the skills to represent the region's unique attractions and services while enhancing the overall visitor experience, making Albany a standout cruise destination.

Delivered in partnership with the Albany Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI), the Regional Chambers of Commerce and Industry (RCCI), and Tourism WA, this course is made even more accessible through subsidised funding from Tourism WA. It offers a unique opportunity to learn from industry experts and connect with professionals in the field.

Attendees will learn:

· Effective communication and customer service skills for engaging with cruise passengers.

· Knowledge of Albany’s key attractions, local history, and unique cultural highlights.

· Techniques for providing professional and friendly assistance to visitors.

· How to manage visitor inquiries and offer tailored recommendations.

· Strategies for enhancing the visitor experience and creating positive first impressions.

· Insights into the cruise industry and its impact on the local community.

· Ways to collaborate with local businesses and tourism operators to showcase Albany.
