Colour Them Safe - Annual Art for Wellbeing Fundraiser
Diverse young people with complex mental health challenges need safe and inclusive community support.

Colour Them Safe is a health promoting organisation led by committed and kind community members. We provide accessible and inclusive wellbeing experiences, with and for, diverse young people experiencing complete mental health challenges.

Many of us are affected by Mental health challenges, especially young people. In Australia, about three-quarters of common mental health problems emerge before the age of 25. Experts advocate wellbeing is a way of improving our lives. It helps us stay resilient, build social support and self-efficacy, and cope with adversity (Blackdog, 2024). 

Given this, we are on a mission to improve the wellbeing of young people experiencing mental health challenges through art and partnerships. We currently provide training and capacity building, in-person and online studios; personal art kits and peer support. 

We can proudly say that we are positively affecting lives through art for wellbeing. However, the work we do is not possible without the support from community, donors and funders. Your support is needed. 

Join us for an artful evening as we raise much needed funds to ensure diverse young people have access to inclusive community based mental health support that complements clinical pathways.

We will provide refreshments, have an awesome art auction, a rather rad raffle and wellbeing products for sale. Come along and be sure to invite your colleagues, family and friends to support the awesomeness that is Art for wellbeing.
