Event description

We are thrilled to present the world premiere of 7 brand-new works for chamber ensemble!

Let these works take you from the sprawling farmlands in Horowhenua to Auckland City on a damp night, from the rumble of the engines above Christchurch airport to a small bedroom in the heart of Wellington. In collaboration with local poets, these four young composers traverse grief, queer desire, desperate rage, and the prickliest, pimpliest corners of the internet.

St Peters will be brought to life with diverse sonic landscapes, including lush washes of piano, contemporary jazz, reverberant minimalist harmonies, and avant-garde noise music. Prepare for a breathtaking journey across Aotearoa through music and poetry!

7pm 8th July, St Peter’s on Willis.
