Event description

Permaculture Blue Mountains invites you to ..

Join us for an enriching evening with David Wright, a long-time educator, activist and creative thinker from the renowned Social Ecology group at Western Sydney University up to 2022. David also worked in School of Contemporary Arts and School of Education. David's principal interest is in education - developing and enriching insight and understanding.

This will be an interactive and heartfelt evening for anyone passionate about permaculture, education, or working with community and land in a more conscious and relational way.

David’s talk will explore a different kind of understanding - one rooted not just in insight or action, but in relationship, relevance, place and story. With decades of experience in education, activism and creative practice, David brings a rare and grounded wisdom that aligns beautifully with permaculture’s core ethics.

This won’t be a traditional lecture. It will be a space for reflection, conversation and a journey into how we make meaning through our relationships - with people, places and the land.

Bring your curiosity, a dish to share, cutlery, plate and cup .. and join us for a powerful night of connection and conversation.

You'll leave with a renewed sense of how education, ecology, and permaculture intersect in a living dialogue.
